WHAT ARE MILLIEGOAT BAGS MADE FROM?
Every MillieGoat bag starts with thrifted or secondhand materials I find while hunting through local thrift stores. Jackets, denim, skirts, backpacks, curtains, if it has character and durability, I’ll give it a new purpose.
Cleaned, Prepped & Reworked
Once I bring materials home, I wash and prep everything. Then I take each piece apart, cut new pattern pieces, and redesign them into something completely different. Every stitch is done by hand, intentionally and with love.
Why It Matters
Using secondhand fabrics keeps clothing out of landfills and reduces the demand for new textile production. It’s sustainable, meaningful, and makes each bag one-of-a-kind in the best possible way.
